Systemic low pressure typically traces back to a failing Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV), a partially closed municipal meter shutoff, or severe mineral scaling inside aged galvanized steel pipes. A licensed plumber can test static pressure and dynamic flow across multiple stations to isolate whether the restriction is mechanical, municipal, or due to interior corrosion.

Pressure Diagnostic Steps
Test your main PRV (Pressure Reducing Valve) adjustment setting
Verify the municipal meter valve and main gate valve are 100% open
Check for mineral tuberculation inside galvanized plumbing lines
Clean sediment screens in whole-home filtration and softener units
